Awesomeness Has Flavor
Just a person trying to find a little awesome within this world.
Bleach be trollin again
Let me say this, the ending to full metal alchemist was awesome! 111 pages of alchemist goodness. It did something totally unexpected and I loved it. However I refuse to spoil it so check it out for yourself.

Bleach was, well okay. I mean how does Isshin motivating Ichigo take up an entire chapter. Instead of going through and just challenging Aizen however, they are taking advantage of a plot device and adding another training scene. Wait doing an infinite amount of training in a small time, that sounds familiar. *Cough* Dragon Ball Z *Cough* Oh come on can't people come up with their own ideas anymore.

Naruto was pretty touching, especially how great a character Naruto's mom was. It must be sort of weird for Naruto though, having his mom and dad inside his subconcious somewhere. Well it's awesome that Naruto is going to be able to control the ninetails now. This will probably be thwarted by our uchiha friend and his ability to pull plot devices and powers straigh out of his ass. How can bleach have a great villian like Aizen while Naruto is stuck with Madara.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn was average. The chapter was alright, I just can't get past the fact that a huge misunderstanding happened by pure coincidence. You need a better reason then, "The envelope fell in the trash" for the Shimon not to trust the Vongola. Also how is that guy even able to touch Yammato. They went ten years into the future and got insanely powerful. The ring technology shouldn't exist yet, it wasn't even supposed to exist in the future but Byakuran's psychic powers furthered their development. Well Byakuran does not exist anymore, so where did they get the rings from?

Gantz. . . Yeahs!
Alot can be said about Gantz, I could go on and on about the overuse of fanservice and gore or the fact that none of the characters are safe from being killed off. Gantz started out as a gorefest but it got SOOO much better. When the gantz members started to act as a team, and each were given unique personalities and stories instead of just targets to be ripped apart by aliens I started to dig in. Sure I still skipped over some of the more racy parts, but the story was pretty darn good. The plot twists were executed well, i.e. the vampires being introduced and revealing that Kurono's brother is one of them, the explanation behind the Gantz ball. Now that the story is on it's final phase, I'm excited for the conclusion. This is where I address my other fear for the series, the art for Gantz is very beautiful and detailed. . . however during fightscenes it can get jumbled and confusing, resulting in full page spreads and dragged out missions. So the current phase could take awhile, seeing how the author is not tied to a strict release schedule.

The latest chapter was good and bad. . . good because the fightscene was nicely drawn and bad because there was almost no dialogue besides a couple sentences and a few grunting noises. Making it hard to follow the story. From what I can gather the gantz fighters were transferred into the alien's ship, which ended up looking like an entire city from within. Then they got knocked around by the giant aliens until some dude beamed over bigger glove upgrades for the suit. Nothing much happened, except for one giant staring at Kurono. Has it been explained exactly why we are being invaded up to this point? I mean there was that weird bit with the reporter and god-like thingy but besides that. . . well anyway.

Also interestingly enough there is going to be a gantz live action movie soon. I saw two preview pictures, one of a fighter (Presumably Kei) in the gantz suit) and another of one of the guns. They both looked good. I really don't know much beyond that, but I'm intrigued on how that'll turn out. *Cough* though kishimoto's actress has a big bra to fill * Cough*

It will be mine! (Or maybe not)
A month or two ago I entered a contest for Hbi2k's birthday to make the worst berserk abridged episode possible. I think my friend and I did a fair job at sucking. Now I'm patiently waiting for them to judge the contest, which I understand the dude has a life as well. I'm just wondering if we do win, would it have been worth the whole ten minutes of editing I put into the making of the episode. I mean the number one prize is The Phantom Menace, I guess that just says it all. Personally I'm aiming for number two, cause beary and I had a deal to split the prize since I really didn't care for a lame prequel movie or a T-shirt. I'm just wondering, is it a good thing to win a contest saying you created the worst abridged episode.
